Sailor Jupiter

Makoto Kino is a tall, beautiful, and boyish girl. She was born on December, 5, her blood type is 0, her astrological sign is Sagittarius. Makoto's favourite colour is pink.

Makoto, or Mako-chan, as her friends address her, lives alone in her apartment because her parents died in an airplane crash, therefore she's afraid of planes. The hard life has taught Makoto to be strong and to never give up. In fact, Makoto isn't rude and harsh at all, she's actually kind and good person. Mako-chan is a perfect cook.

Makoto is introduced in episode 25. The girl has transfered to Usagi's school because she had problems in her prevous one. Everyone is afraid of her in the beginning because rumors say that she has beaten a guy. However, Usagi is impressed of Mako-chan's kindness and cuteness and her cooking skills. The crybaby introduces herself and the two girls befriend. Even though that Makoto looks like a tomboy, she loves feminine activities like cleaning and cooking; she's also very elegant and pretty and she's really good at skating. Makoto also often falls in love.

As soon as Usagi and Makoto befriend, the crybaby takes Makoto to the Game Center and there the tall girl meets a boy, Game Machine Joe. She follows him after he leaves the Game Center. He's attacked by Zoicite for his rainbow crystal. Makoto saves him, but the boy tells the girl that she's boyish and that he doesn't like her. Zoicite attacks for second time and this time the boy is turned into youma. Sailor Moon appears and tries to save the girl in love, but the youma catches the Soldier. Makoto beats the youma, saving Sailor Moon. Luna realizes that Makoto is Sailor Jupiter. The cat throws Jupiter's transformation stick and tells the girl to transform. After saying "Jupiter Power! Make-up!", Makoto Kino becomes the Soldier of thunder and courage, Sailor Jupiter. She uses her "Supreme Thunder" and destroys the monster. Thus, Sailor Jupiter joins the Sailor Soldiers and saves the world from a terrible fate.

In both of her forms (civilian and alter-ego) Makoto has great fighting skills, she also has black belt in karate. Sailor Jupiter is protected by the planet Jupiter, which gives her mighty thunder-type attacks. Her beautiful rose-earrings are not only pretty, they also can be used as a weapon against enemies.

Powers Jupiter Power! Make-up! - Mako-chan's first transformation using the pen Luna gave her. First used in episode 25.
Supreme Thunder - A powerful thunder flies out from Sailor Jupiter's antenna, which is located inside her Tiara.
Jupiter Star Power! Make-up! - Mako-chan's second transformation.
Supreme Thunder Dragon! - This is Sailor Jupiter's second attack, which is, in fact, the improved version of "Supreme Thunder".
Sparkling Wide Pressure! - Sailor Jupiter's main attack in Sailor Moon R and Sailor Moon S. The soldier of thunder throws a disk of electricity against an enemy.
Jupiter Crystal Power! Make-up! - Mako-chan's third transformation phrase. The heroine says this in order to become Super Sailor Jupiter.
Super Supreme Thunder - Sailor Jupiter used this attack once in SuperS. This is, obviously, an improved version of "Supreme Thunder".
Jupiter Oak Evolution! - This is Sailor Jupiter's main attack in the end of SuperS and during Sailor Stars. She spins around and the enemy is attacked by leaves.
