Luna
Luna is Sailor Moon's / Usagi Tsukino's guardian cat who comes from the Moon Kingdom. She appears in Act 1 for first time. Luna is a black plushie cat with purple eyes, with a crescent moon on her forehead.

One morning, Luna fell on Usagi's head while the girl was in hurry for school. The blonde thought the cat was a toy, and ignored it. Later, before she goes to sleep, Usagi realises that the cat can talk. However, the girl thinks that she is dreaming. Before the cat leaves, she forms a magical cell phone and tells Usagi to call her when she starts to believe her. The next day, Usagi tries to stop a youma. Then Luna appears and tells Usagi to transform, turning her into a pretty sailor-suited Soldier of love and justice, Sailor Moon.

Luna's role in PGSM is similar to the one from the Anime and Manga - she helps the Soldiers to fight enemies.


Artemis
Artemis is the guardian cat of Minako Aino (Sailor Venus and Sailor V), who comes from the Moon Kingdom. He is a white cat with blue eyes. However, his eyes in the Manga are green.

Artemis turned Aino Minako into the pretty soldier of love and justice, Sailor V. As her guardian cat, his mission was to help V to beat gangsters and robbers. Later in the Live Action, he appears to introduce Sailor V, the Princess from the Moon Kingdom. Even later, when Sailor Moon is revealed to be the real Princess, he becomes less pent to Sailor Moon, Mercury, Jupiter, and Mars.
